I stumbled over this during my research for my game and play design projects from the first year at MFADT. Will Lentz, the designer here, made a series of explorations about “eating together” from his impetus to make a critique of ‘eating alone’, heavily advertised by Seamless. He titled this “Eating Together” but the quirky product designer in me, loved the word, “Collabor-eating”.
The reason I fell in love with this, is his beautiful execution of the same idea and impetus in various forms. As someone really passionate about expressing an ‘Idea in many forms’ (a design project practice that stuck with me since I came to Parsons) this was a great elaborate example of the same, with finesse and aesthetic in execution.
