When I was in Infosys (2010-12), the Infosys Science Foundation held a contest among its employees, to design a logo for the organization. These are my two logo samples.
Sample 1I played around with the letters, inspired to make it look like an emblem or a symbol of an ancient inscription. This also embodies the ISF letters of the abbreviation. I made this with lines and circles and drawing them proportionately against each other as shown. This was my design interest in exploring graphic design tools. The blue color is taken from the company’s existing logo itself.
Since science is reasoning, and it all originates out of thought and idea, I embodied the logo to look like an electric bulb, which is the most famous symbol for an ‘idea’. The filament of the bulb has the abbreviation ISF which expands to the organization’s name. The blue color is taken from the company’s existing logo itself.
